The Station Tavern, Grosmont

Welcome to the Station Tavern

This family run Pub was built in 1836 and still holds a warm welcome.  In addition to a traditional bar, we have a separate family room (none smoking) where diners can eat in front of a real fire and children are always welcome.

Grosmont Village

Situated in the village of Grosmont the Station Tavern is ideal for the visitor wishing to take full advantage of the glorious rolling countryside of the North Yorkshire Moors and coast.

The picturesque fishing port of Whitby is easily reached by bus or train (Esk Valley Line).

Coast to Coast Walk

We are ideally located for the "last night feast", situated just 15 miles from Robin Hoods Bay.  Our extensive stocks of wine at very reasonable prices will help to make the evening relaxed and memorable.

North Yorkshire Moors Railway

Grosmont is also the northern terminus for the North Yorkshire Moors Railway, a preserved steam railway, which winds its way 18 miles south to the market town of Pickering through beautiful countryside, much of which is inaccessible by other means.
